Jan Gerfast - short bio
Jan Gerfast was born in - 54.
He was raised in Osby, a little town in Sweden.
He started to play the blues guitar in the end of the 60s.
Living as a vagabond in the 70s.
Stayed among other places in Paris, France as a street musician
and later on playing in a jazzclub there.
Came home again and started a band called "Blue Night".
This band played experimental rock music.
At this time Jan lived a kind of hippie life in the woods !
In the beginning of the 80s Jan was backing up other swedish artists
live and on records.
In the end of the 80s he formed his blues band and started to play
a lot live in sweden.
Later on the rest of Scandinavia, Germany, Holland, Belgium, Luxembourg,
France, Poland etc
He has released 6 albums in his own name.
