Jan Gerfast, guitarist, singer and composer, 
has been on the international blues and rock scene for a long time. 
He has developed his own unique style and sound: "Groovy Blues". 

If you enjoy listening to the guitar improvising over groovy bluesriffs, 
this is it ! 

He has toured, recorded or jammed with international artists like : 
"Uncle" John Turner, "Big" Joe Turner, Angela Brown, 
Junior Wells, Willie "The Touch" Hayes, Erin Jaimes and many more.

Jan Gerfast - short bio

Jan Gerfast was born in - 54.
He was raised in Osby, a little town in Sweden.
He started to play the blues guitar in the end of the 60s.
Living as a vagabond in the 70s.
Stayed among other places in Paris, France as a street musician 
and later on playing in a jazzclub there.

Came home again and started a band called "Blue Night".
This band played experimental rock music.
At this time Jan lived a kind of hippie life in the woods !

In the beginning of the 80s Jan was backing up other swedish artists
live and on records.

In the end of the 80s he formed his blues band and started to play 
a lot live in Sweden.
Later on the rest of Scandinavia, Germany, Holland, Belgium, Luxembourg,
France, Poland etc

He has released 9 albums in his own name.
